So glad to hear the good news!! My 80 yr old employer had the anterior approach also back in April. She's doing good also, though probably longer to recover than a young woman like you. Are you on Facebook?
Hi Stephanie
I received the prayer request for your surgery. I'm guessing you've already left for B'ham and will not read this, but be assured I shall be praying for you during and after surgery - swift and full recovery. Thanks be to God for His watchful care over you as you sleep.
Legalism . . . I have not thought of that "term" in years!! I am so far from all that words stands for! I am going to TRY and post some pictures tomorrow . . . the key word is TRY! I don't have classes on Friday so sometimes I just play!! One of the joys of being on a university campus!
I needed a reminder!! I have a stack of SBC pics and need to go through them and scan and post . . . as I promised last year!! This semester has been soooooooooooooo busy; more than normal!! This is the last week of classes . . . YEA!! So soon!!
Thanks so much, Stephanie. It's already been great to see some faces I haven't had contact with with in 35 years!

Thanks for the update! I would recognize you but not Larry! We also have a dog named Coco. Without the a. I'm so computer illiterate-what a surprise for me when I opened my page and found all these pictures on there- thanks to Rhonda. She is such a doll. I've always said that if anything ever happened between she an Jimmy (God forbid) I get Rhonda!! You are still as beautiful as ever, Stef. Jerry
Steph, Our paths barely crossed but you were one of the great people I remember at SEBC. Marilyn and I are finally retired, she from social work and I from education. Christian education does not do much for retirement so I stay busy doing substituting.
We live in Omaha NE. I remember Ooletwah TN some very nice places there.
Hi Stephanie, How's the weather down in TN? Its cold, bitterly cold today(10 above) but I know it will get colder. We're already starting to use the above and below words with our temp. We've lived here 32 years but I'll never get used to the ice and cold..brrr
Stephanie -- was going through a box of old slides I had in storage and found some pics made at SBC!!! I plan to post these when I get a chance to select the best ones!! I WANT TO JOIN THE GROUP even though I graduated in 1977!! How do I do that??
I love the picture of ladies chorale. We had such fun!! Anyway, I have seen Sproule several times in the last few years. He and Ginny both have been having health problems. I think my mother may know where Jim Wolfe went, I'll ask. As for Chapman, I have no idea. He should be in town somewhere.
Well they were from Hueytown or Fairfield if I remember right so that could be it but Barbara was at Southeastern before you were. She is out in Colorado. She married Bill Fair and they run a camp. Is that cool or what. I am jealous I totally need to rethink my life here. ha

Hey Steph,
Here is what he wrote me. He is on facebook.
Good to hear from you, Andy. I think about you every time I see a copy of the book Biblical Eldership. I am new to Facebook as well. I joined at the invitation of a group I belong to, the Network of Baptist Associations.
I currently serve as the Associational Missionary of Shelby Baptist Association, just south of Birmingham. I work with about 70 Southern Baptist churches, which includes 8 church starts at present. I want to start 42 more in the next 12 years.

Hey Stephanie,
good to reconnect after all these years. Do you happen to know a missionary up in your area named Fred Bennett? (Titus International) He's a good friend.
Awesome to hear about God's work in and through your lives, Stephanie. If you get a chance, check out my latest novel, Journey to Judah, at any online store. Become a fan of the journey and pass the word along!
I wish I could have a drop down box. The only options I have are to create a question you have to answer. Maybe they'll give us that option one day! Good idea!
YOU look fabulous and the very same except of course the blonde hair! Look forward to catching up with everyone! I posted info about us today so check it out! Larry
Wow...blast from the past overload. It is great to hear from you. Dawn and Betty are in OKC visiting Barb (after surgery). Daughter Jennifer and Son-in-law Matt Dillard live in Chatt. Matt working on Masters at UTC, Jen works at Challenger Center and working on Masters at UTC. We'll have to look you up some time while in the city. Jonathan
Keeping you connected!
