Good to hear from you. I have not seen Jody in many years. He was the greatest thing that ever hit Calvary Bible Church in Huntsville.
Your babies are all grown up. Wow! Where have the years gone.
I have three sons 18, 15, and 6. Yes, the 6 year old was born when I was 50.
I've had 28 years of children's ministry in north AL. 25 years with Child Evangelism Fellowship and today I'm the director of children's ministry for Second Mile, a Huntsville ministry.
Hi Judy. Good to hear from you. always thought our families entertwined in many ways. Have kept up with you thru Georgetta. Thanks for joining my page. Jerry
Hey Judy, it's great to hear from you too. Yes, we are still at McElwain (I've been there since 1992 and Dan since I came along and he jumped ship from Dawson). John (25) is a firefighter in Anniston and Stephanie (28) is a middle school choral teacher in Orlando. Both are married and doing well.
Katie is at UNA. She is doing good. Leah lives in Nashville. She received her Art degree from Towson University in MD. 2 years ago. She is now teaching Art at a private High School outside of Nashville. Teaching keeps her busy but she loves it.
I am sorry to hear about your mother, I didn't know. After six back surgeries and severe injuries from an automobile accident I retired from pastoring. Then I was diagnosed with MS. I still live in Trussville and teach a Bible class at Central Baptist Church in Argo on Sunday mornings.
Both boys are grown. I have 4 grandkids (3 girls, 1 boy). The oldest is Alyssa she is 21 and a senior at Samford. Karen is fine and says hello. We just celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary Aug. 15th.
It is good hearing from you. God bless you,
Allen
Hi Judy, Your dad was my preofessor and friend. He gave the charge at my ordination in 1967. I returned to Southeastern in 1977 and graduated in 79. You were there and met my wife Karen. She remembers you. I love your mother. How is she doing. I have lost contact with everyone.
Wow Judy! I had to join to be able to say hello to you after all these years. Have followed some good times and great losses of yours through mom's friendship with Georgetta. Love to you and you family.
Officially '78 - '80 - Altho since my Dad was the dean, my mom worked there for years and my brother and sister both graduating...I was there FOREVER!
Campus you attended? Southside, 280, or Valleydale
Southside! the Original!
About me...
Southeastern has been in my life for literally as long as I can remember. As some of you know, my Dad was the Dean of Students from '64 to '72, my Mom worked there until she retired, my sister, Linda and my brother, John both graduated from SBC, so it was a family affair for all of us. I think I got the label "campus brat" early on and I think it stuck until I left in '80!!
I now work in the IT department for Southern Company and have two great kids. My son, Jason, graduated in May of '08 from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA with his Masters in Chemical Oceanography. My daughter, Holly, will graduate in May of '09 from UAB with her degree in Psychology.
I have great memories of SBC (who added the "E" anyway??!!!) and most of you are part of them!
