My favorite scene was the discussion in the firehouse when they got back from rescuing the car from the railroad track. In the Spanish version, they messed the conversation up, though. I am planning to show the movie to the fire department here as...
Hello Johnny. Hope you are doing well. How did you end up in Ecuador? Love to hear how God got you there. I too am blessed more than I deserve. 3 children (17, 13, 8 yrs) and a beautiful wife, Christi, that I met when I came back to work at Southeastern in 1984. Today, I'm on the Board at Southeastern, teach Sunday School at Shades Mtn Independent Church, serve on the board of Rick and Mick Ministries, and work at Hunter Systems.
I will check on the organization that my brother spent time with. They were on the Amazon River for a month. He does not do Portegeuse (I can not even spell it). I bought a pocket translater for them to use. Neat thing, the missionaries said they thought the natives would enjoy hearing a computer speak their language.
Sounds like you are keeping in shape, Marilyn and I try to walk a mile or two a day. That is not happening now since the temperatures are in the teens.
Keep me posted on what is going on in your life. It is great to hear that we were able to help several of you while I was at SEBC. Lord bless you and keep you, and yours.
The super substitute/team manager, a really good guy to have associated with any program.
My brother just spent the three months in Brazil working with missionaries training lay workers and teachers of native missions.
Your family sounds great.
