Hi Cindy - Spring is FINALLY here in Minnesota (I hope). At least the snow is melted and Mike is starting to do "outside springy things". Must not tell Mike about your climate - it sounds like heaven and he'd want to be on the next boat headed south. I think the only people who would want to live in MN are those who were born here and those whom the Lord led here - and we fit into the latter. So we will be content in this state until He leads elsewhere. I trust the Lord blessed you with a wonderful Resurrection Celebration Day. So good to hear from you. How are Susie and Ron adjusting to living back down south?
Great to hear from you. Most of Randy's family attend Community Bible in Baton Rouge so we see Becky and Bill when we are in town on Sundays. My dad still pastors our church, Hardin's Chapel Bible, here in Ragland--close to 55 years now. We were BLESSED with only one son who married last summer. The Lord gave him a jewel after 29 years of praying--so no "grands" yet. Randy's health has been a real challenge over the years but our God has been so faithful! Thanks for getting contact !!! Because of His great love,
Randy and Becky
Linda wrote to me years ago but then lost contact with her. She went to the same Summer Camp that Angel and I went to when we were young and living in Florida.
I thought we were too but now it is confirmed! By the way I was just looking at Angel's only year book of 1971 and saw some names that brought back some memories...Linda Worthington, Gail Riley and Ginny Shuit...hear anything about these ladies?
Annie's cleft palate surgery is actually December 22nd. We should just be in the hospital overnight and then a two week recovery time. Thanks for your prayers
Ken and I are in the Pittsburgh area with our daughter Erin and her family. We will be here for Christmas. Our daughter, Jayme, will return from her semester in Ireland on Sunday.
Cindy, Hope and I are doing great!! All 3 of our children are married and are involved in some type of ministry. We have 6 grandchildren (and 2 more in Heaven). I'm pastor of the Emerald Coast Community Church, and Hope is assistant-director of "Before and After School Care" at a local elementary school. I am also a chaplain with Emerald Coast Hospice. Thankfully, we live 5 minutes from Destin's beach.
