David Carey Beard
BEARD, MR. DAVID CAREY Mr. David Carey Beard, age 64, of Franklin, TN formerly of Birmingham, AL passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2009. He worked many years in the automobile business, and has been retired for several years. He was a faithful member of St. Ignatius Orthodox Church in Franklin and served as the choir director for many years. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph O. and Eloise Vann Beard and brother, Donald Beard. Survived by wife, Elizabeth "Betty" H. Beard; sons, Eric (Patty) Beard and Chris Beard; grandchildren, Lindly, Ashley, Alex and twins, Joseph and Isabelle. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM Thursday, May 28, 2009 at St. Ignatius Orthodox Church, Father Stephen Rogers officiating. Interment, St. Ignatius Cemetery. (directly off of Peytonsville Road). Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to St. Ignatius Church Building Fund, 3535 St. Ignatius Ln. Franklin, TN 37064. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church. Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, 615-794-2289.
