I've enjoyed reading the novel, The Debt, by Angela Hunt. It will forever change the way I view ministry.

Right now I'm reading novels by Jeffery Deaver featuring the detective Lincoln Rhymes. Last one I finished was "The Vanished Man." Like to get free books? Have books to give away? Check out www.bookmooch.com.

I finished reading Hind's Feet in High Places this morning. It is an amazing allegory of the Christian life. If you or a friend are going through a rough time, I highly recommend it. I think I'm going to read it to my husband now. (I'll enjoy it all over again.)

Just finished James Patterson's "Sundays at Tiffany's." Could see a movie coming out of this one!

I am reading Wilkie Collins' The Woman In White. It is a period piece murder/mystery story told from different accounts of the people who were involved.

I bet the Annette story was neat. I remember watching her story in movie format years ago. Enjoyed it. Has anyone read The Shack? Within two days, four people had asked me, so I've borrowed the book from a friend and am moving into chapter two. I've heard such rave reviews, I'm intrigued to see where the plot leads.

"The Shack" is a life changing book. Everyone who has ever doubted God's love and care needs to read this little book. It is am easy read and once you begin-you can't stop reading.

I have to be honest, as a writer, I'm finding all kinds of technical difficulties with this book, i.e., POV infractions, long narrative passages, telling instead of showing. Yet, I'm only on chapter three, so I think as I get more into the story, I'll see improvement. The message must be the compelling feature since I've heard only good about the plot.

I did not like "The Shack." Didn't agree with some of the theology behind it. While some ideas are intriguing, some were just down-right "out there."

Started the "Hunter Sisters" book, but gave it up.

On to "Delta Force."

I really like the Annette story. It was a great book! It was so great that when I put it back up on Bookmooch last night, it was "mooched" and mailed away this morning! I didn't see the movie version. Wish I had!
