How did you hear about SEBC? Tell me a bit about how you came to hear about the school or tell me of someone who played an important role in you getting here. I'd like to use some of your comments in an upcoming newsletter. Don't be shy!
I was on Pawnee Avenue with a sign that said, "Will become a student for food!" Dr. Gannett felt sorry for me and took me in. Boy am I glad he did, because I met Hope there, then married her...and she can really cook!!!
My mom and dad had attended SEBC, back in the mid/late 60's. When it came time for me to decide which school I would attend, I basically told the Lord I was NOT going to go to Southeastern. I wanted to move out of the house and go someplace far away. I wanted an adventure. After checking out several different schools that were hours away from home, I still hadn't found "the" school for me. So, I caved and told my parents I wanted to visit Southeastern. I did it just so that I could say I had done it and check it off my list, then move on. It was the last school I visited. After meeting with Shane Hudman, touring the campus, and talking with several people, I walked out of the front doors of the 280 campus and knew that I would be an SEBC alumni one day. And the truth was, I was excited about it! The Lord completely changed my heart, and I loved my time at SEBC!
